Stepping out onto North Terrace after a visit to the Art Gallery of South Australia in 2004, I was greeted by a scene like this. I was hooked! My rainy-day passion had begun. The red banner used to say 'Gallery' back in the early 2000s and has since been changed to black with the initials 'AGSA'. I took the artistic liberty of converting it back to its original red – the painting deserved so much more than black!
